What I Can and Can’t Control
There is so much happening out there. It can seem that every time we switch on the news, something else is changing. It’s very easy, and completely natural, to feel overwhelmed by this. However, by accepting the things that we can’t control, and focusing on the things we can, we can feel a whole lot better. Let’s look at how to do that.

At the start of this lockdown period, I was quite worried, to be honest. Everything was changing and totally unpredictable.
When we fight against that, and try to control and predict things in a very changeable situation, it can cause us to feel stressed and anxious.
The truth is that we can’t control what is happening around us, so we might feel a bit helpless and worried. But what if we focus on all of the things that we do have control over? It’s a change of perspective that makes all the difference!
